As Patron of the Berkshire Masonic Bowling Association, I am delighted that we will be hosting the UGLE wide 2024 MACE Masonic Bowls competition at the Desborough Bowling Club, Green Lane, Maidenhead, SL6 1XZ on Friday 9th August 2024.

A very warm welcome will await you and I am assured the catering, along with all other facilities will be first class.

Over the last 14 years, MACE has been holding this event and has raised over £70,000 for local charities sponsored by the host Province. This year Berkshire is supporting Action for Children and the Berkshire Panto project.

I would love to see your Province among the 24 Rinks (each of 4 bowlers) competing. As a special incentive you will have the unique spectacle of a new MACE flag being dedicated, by RW Bro Russell Race. I hope you will enjoy the competition and at the same time making new friendships and renewing old ones.

If sadly you are unable to support us with a rink, then perhaps you would be kind enough to consider sending a token donation from your charity funds. It will be gratefully received and faithfully applied.
