Group 7 Festival Walk Sorry Cancelled

Dear Sir and Brother,
Firstly, we hope this letter finds you safe and well.
Many of you will recall back in 2022, Group 7 held a Festival Walk, which was well attended, and was a very successful findraising event for the 2025 Festival.
This event has a few subtle changes, and the most important of which is that the route has been made slightly more accessible to people, and is not as tough as 2022. There will be a “Minibus Service”, whereby if a walker needs to be collected and taken to a drop off point, then this service will allow for that.
There is an emphasis on “Only walk as much/little as you feel comfortable with”. This means that if you only wish to walk along Deal seafront, or over the White Cliffs, or from Sandwich to Deal etc., then that is perfect! Just make sure you get your sponsorship form completed.
On the topic of sponsorship, please remember that this walk can be done individually, as a team, as a group etc. ALL monies count towards your Lodge/Chapter 2025 Festival Target. The Event is centered around the 2025 festival targets, and monies are intended for that purpose and not “general funds”.
The Masonic Charitable Foundation has done so much to support Communities during the pandemic, and this event will feed into that good work, promoting it in our community, for the benefit of all. The more support this event gets, the more the MCF will be able to invest in communities, and community projects.
