“Half a Century of Dedication:

Celebrating 50 Years of Freemasonry”

Presentation of a 50-year certificate

Half a Century of Dedication takes some doing, and there was no better way to celebrate this than with a wonderful Lodge meeting.

WBro David Tyler the representative of our Provincial Grand Master for the Province of East Kent, thoroughly enjoyed the honour of presenting a 50-year certificate to WBro William Leitch of the Romney Marsh Lodge No 4743 on Thursday 16th February 2023.

Bro William (Willie) had been initiated on the 18th of January 1973, and has since been a regular supporter and valid member of his lodge.

In the attached pictures, there are two of the three candidates that Willie has mentored over the years, they include WBro Jim Flanagan and WBro George Sutherland. It was so good to see them at the meeting, and to help Willie celebrate this marvellous achievement.

Both of whom think the world of this great man a true guide throughout their Freemasonry.

The Romney Marsh Lodge owes Willie a great debt of gratitude and wishes him every success for his continued service.

On behalf of our Province and its members congratulations Bro William on this amazing accolade.
