With the weather in the favour of riding, and everyone decked out in the Christmas spirit, we were ready to start “Toy Run 2022”.

Strode Park, Herne. 

Caring since 1946, Strode Park Foundation is a Kent charity, providing vital care, support services, care at home, supported living opportunities and day and leisure services for children and adults with a range of disabilities

Toys delivered to Strode Park in Herne, picture show the riders, staff and some of the recipient's of the gifts.

Footprints, Stodmarch Road, Canterbury. 

Another fantastic charity, part of the Footprints Foundation, looking after people with learning difficulities, Physical disabilities, Sensory impairment and for Younger Adults.

Rising Sun Domestic Abuse

Rising Sun Domestic Violence & Abuse Service supports women and children affected by domestic abuse in Canterbury and East Kent. They support the users through every step of removing abuse from their lives and improving their safety.

Final Stop

Millmead Children’s Centre, Margate. 

The final leg of the 2022 Toy Run took the Widows Sons to Millmead Children’s Centre, Margate. 

The Children’s Centre is part of a nationwide programme of services for 0-7 year olds and their families. Their aim is to offer information, advice and support to parents, as well as integrated childcare and early learning, health services, family support and parental outreach.
