Over the weekend of the 28th-30th July 12 members of the Widows Sons East Kent made the long journey up to Bishop Auckland for the National Rally. There were over 400 people in attendance at the rally!
The meeting included the FIRST ever meeting of the Widows Sons Lodge No 10011, with over 200 masons in attendance, waht a visitors list that was!
The East Kent group were treated to a fantastic weekend, which included Bands, some Great Rides across the moors, with rides covering over 60km.
Us riders form the south had to contend with a bit of drizzle, the Friendship was however, warm and friendly, and that’s what it is all about.
The Riders returned back to a sunny East Kent, riding over 800 miles during the weekend. We can’t wait for the next meet.

The Widows Sons is an International Association which is open to all Freemasons who enjoy motorcycling and have a desire to ride with and associate with their fraternal brothers.
Our goal is to:
· Introduce the pleasures of motorcycling to our Masonic Brothers
· Raise Masonic Awareness in the world of motorcycling
· Support our regular Masonic lodges through regular attendance and assisting with or attending lodge events.
While we wear identifying regalia, or patches, the Widows Sons are not a biker gang, MC or 1% Club. We are required to represent the fraternity in a positive light at all times. The Widows Sons serve to raise money for charitable causes, raise Masonic awareness while attending public motorcycling events and support our regular Lodges in whatever capacity we are able. Widows Sons chapters have helped to increase Masonic membership through our presence and visibility during public motorcycle events and rallies.
