PSA TESTING

This years PSA testing event sponsored by the Cornwallis East Kent Freemasons Charity and hosted by the Millennium Lodge of Charity in East Kent No 9730 was again well supported. This event provides brethren from across the province an opportunity to take part in a test to detect the early signs of prostate disease.  Around 250 brethren made the most of this opportunity. We wish them well with their results and express our thanks to the generosity of those brethren who made a donation to the Cornwallis Charity at the time of their appointment.

Prostate disease can of course be a matter of life and death. Early detection is the best method of prevention, therefore we are should all applaud the hard work of  W Bro Kevin Kemp for organising this event and those in the past, also the support team who gave their time to administer the event on the day, namely WBro Chris Watson, WBro Martin Ransome, WBro Peter West (CEKFC Secretary) and WBro Chic Cameron.  We also extend our thanks to the team of phlebotomist who cheerfully give up part of  their weekend.

The RWPGM attended this years event,  he is pictured with the events organiser WBro Kevin Kemp.
