Become A Member Of The Lodge

As you may know, the EKLBB Club was created to bring Freemasons from across the Province together. Its purpose is to broaden members’ experiences, encourage new friendships, & enhance the overall value & enjoyment of being a Freemason.

As those bonds strengthened, we recognised a potential challenge: once members received Provincial Honours & became ‘Dark Blues’, opportunities to mix with Light Blues could naturally diminish. To address this & ensure that spirit of unity continued, we created the ‘Light Blue Lodge’, a roaming Lodge designed to build on the Club’s excellent work.

By meeting at different Masonic Centres throughout the Province, the Lodge offers members the chance to experience more Masonic Centres, form fresh connections, & deepen their appreciation of Freemasonry. The Lodge maintains a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. It is not intended to replace your Mother Lodge, but to complement & enrich your Masonic journey, providing greater connection & enjoyment.

To date, the Lodge has not conducted any ceremonies, in keeping with our principle of complementing rather than replacing Mother Lodges. Instead, we have held enjoyable & informative meetings. On many occasions, after meetings, we have left the Masonic Centre to enjoy our Festive Boards in unique venues, including the Shepherd Neame headquarters where we enjoyed a tour of the site before sitting down to ‘try’ several drinks with an enjoyable meal.

Please reply to this email if you would be interested in finding out more about becoming a member of the Light Blue Lodge, a very unique Lodge within your Province, especially if you’re about to receive your first Provincial Honour.
