DESCRIPTION:On Friday 9th September 2026\, Ashford Chapter 8945 will be hos
 ting the Provincial Royal Arch Demonstration Team for a demonstration of t
 he passing of the ceremony of the veils at The Ashford Masonic Hall\, comm
 encing at 18:15 prompt and open to all Companions.\n\nThis is a rare oppor
 tunity and something very special and I encourage you to attend if you can
 .\n\nAbout the Demonstration of the Ceremony of the Passing of the Veils\n
 \nStep back in time to the formative years of the Royal Arch with an exclu
 sive demonstration of The Ceremony of the Passing of the Veils.\n\nHistori
 cally worked in English Chapters between 1780 and 1820\, this ceremony onc
 e served as the essential bridge between the Craft and the Royal Arch.\n\n
 Though largely removed from English workings following the Browne revision
  of 1835\, the Veils remain a vital piece of our heritage. This historical
  re-creation offers a unique "best guess" at the ritual that once prepared
  candidates for Exaltation. Attendees will witness the symbolic journey fr
 om the despair of the Third Degree toward the hope of the Second Temple.\n
