Thanet Group 8 Freemasons Charity Golf DayIn aid of Louie's Helping Hands
A fantastic £2000 has been raised for The Llewellyn School Big Build through supporting charity Louie’s Helping Hand’s.
72 Golfers took part on the day, hosted by Westgate & Birchington Golf Club.
Westgate and Birchington Golf Club (WABGC) Manager and Thanet Mason Andrew Wheeler organised the event, with Club Professional Mark Young & Louie’s Helping Hands volunteers Tania Horn & Debbie Chapman.
Lots of local businesses supported with donations and raffle prizes which really helped boost the amount raised.
After the prize giving, going into the evening WABGC welcomed another 40 guests to enjoy food and drinks with music provided by Mark Taylor, local Musician and Thanet Mason from Minnis Bay 8496. . The evening was finished off with a great performance from The Totsy’s.
The event was a huge success and club Manager Andrew announced that Friday 15th May 2020 the Thanet Freemasons will hold the event again continuing to support local charity Louie’s Helping Hand’s with the hope of raising more next year.
Through the event Howdens Margate have very generously donated a complete kitchen to help raise more funds for The Llewellyn School Big Build.

Each £10 Donation is one raffle entry. Closing date is the 29th June 2019 with the winner being announced live on Facebook on the 30th June at Westgate & Birchington Golf Club.
