With all NHS staff under pressure of dealing with the Corona virus and other emergencies, It’ was very much appreciated by all the staff at Ashford A&E, when two members from East Kent Freemasons Cooked and delivered food for the staff of the A&E dept at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford today.
Zaf Nizamettin and Ibrahim Darwish decided to do this after hearing that the staff were so busy that they didn’t have time to get their food at lunchtime. Zaf and Ibraham are both members of Temple Lodge in Folkestone.
Zaf runs a pub in Barham and Ibrahim runs a restaurant in Folkestone. Both men said they only to pleased to help.
They gave their time and food for free, just one of the wonderful stories of help being given during this crisis.
