When members of The Fraternitas Masonic Lodge’ which meets at the Howard Hall, Woodside, Wigmore, wanted to make a one off donation to a local youth group, local youth organisations were asked to submit a business case as to why they wanted or need to money, and how it could benefit their organisation.

The members of Fraternitas settled on the 4th Gillingham (Rainham) Sea Scouts. The Scout Leaders had developed and presented a business case which identified the need to purchase a number of tents to enable the group to continue their camping activities, their case being sound, The Fraternitas Masonic Lodge agreed upon and have recently presented the 4th Gillingham (Rainham) Sea Scouts a cheque for £2000.00 which they trust will enable and allow local youngsters to enjoy the very worthy activities of scout camping for years to come.
