Members and Visiting Brethren attending the recent meeting of the Lodge of St Mark at Hythe enjoyed an evening to remember. The meeting, on 5th April 2017, featured an excellent and entertaining rendition of the “Talking Heads” presentation.
The members of the demonstration team were well chosen with Malcolm Smith acting as the Narrator. The Grand Tyler, Malcom Brooks, acted the role of the experienced Master Mason with his customary gusto and panache. Ian Smith “turned back the years” relishing the role of the young and inexperienced Master Mason.
Lodge Member and Past Master Clive Manuel proposed a vote of thanks to the Talking Heads team. Clive, who is currently the Third Provincial Grand Principal of the Order of the Holy Royal Arch in East Kent, said: “Notwithstanding their busy Masonic schedule, to their great credit they had each taken the trouble and found the time to present the demonstration. It had been very helpful in promoting the Order to those in attendance who were not members of it. It had also greatly entertained those who were.”
