Freemasons develop a great sense of camaraderie in their lodges and this naturally extends to an active and enjoyable social life with fellow members, family, friends and members of the general public. East Kent Freemasons organise hundreds of social events each year to which non-members are welcomed. They may be Lodge or Centre-based, Province-wide or they may be organised for the local community.

A pantomime is organised every other year which includes a matinee performance to which hundreds of disadvantaged youngsters are invited. Their places are sponsored by East Kent Freemasons and each youngster receives a goody-bag after the show. See below.
