One of the petitioners of the proposed new rugby lodge, Tom Sutton (you may have seen him present a talk on “Rugby and Freemasonry”), has recently been awarded the England Rugby Football Schools’ Union Life Membership Award in recognition of his outstanding commitment and distinguished work on behalf of the Union. This is the highest award available to ERFSU volunteers – well done Tom.

Tom is pictured on the evening of the awards ceremony with two other distinguished guests, Peter Ebbage and David Clent, both recipients of the “Services to School Rugby Awards”.

Despite his other commitments, Tom has offered to draw up a record of the rugby and other interests of all Petitioners and initial Joining Members of the proposed new rugby lodge, for the lodge archives.
