Help Needed to Attract New Candidates for Freemasonry in East Kent
Recruitment in East Kent has come a long way in the last few years, we were one of the first Provinces to develop a pro-active recruitment strategy, and our membership programme for “unsupported” enquiries (i.e. not via the traditional route of personal recommendation) now accounts for 1 in every 7 men initiated in our Province.
However if we are to achieve our PGM’s target of getting our numbers back into growth by 2017 we now have to take things to the next level and find an additional 100 initiates a year.
In order to do this, our events team will be embarking on an enhanced programme during 2015/16, attending over 30 events in the next 12 months in order to spread the message about Freemasonry to more people than ever before.
Our heroic team of Events volunteers is few in number and desperately needs reinforcements to help achieve our goals. We need both “Ambassadors” to man the stand and to interact with the public, and drivers with the vehicles and skills to tow our mobile display unit.
If you can commit to spending a minimum of just 2 days per year with the Team we would love to hear from you. Please send your details to WBro Philip South, Chairman of the Provincial Communications Board.
