Worshipful Bro. William Roger Daniels PAGDC
William was born in 1948 in Ramsgate. He now lives in Gillingham with his wife, Christine. Between them they have four children and eight grandchildren. He was educated at King’s School, Rochester, and then University College London.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Chartered Tax Advisor. Since 1995 he has been in practice in the Medway Towns.
He was initiated into Pentangle Lodge No 1174 on 14 February 1975; was installed as Master in 1984 and again in 1995, and also served as Treasurer and Charity Steward for a number of years. He was appointed a Provincial Grand Steward in 1991, Past Provincial Deputy Grand Registrar in 1993, Provincial Senior Grand Warden in 2012 and Provincial Grand Treasurer in 2014. Appointed Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies in 2016.
He was exalted into Pentangle Chapter No 1174 on November 1985, and installed as First Principal in 1996. He was appointed Provincial Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies in 2002 and Provincial Deputy Grand Sword Bearer in 2009.
He is a Freeman of the City of London and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Basketmakers.
He and his wife are glass artists and run a small craft business.
He is a trustee and treasurer of a welfare charity operating in Kent.
He enjoys reading, classical music, opera and ballet.
