Pentangle Lodge, NO 1174, opened its doors to the public on Saturday 2nd December, which coincided with the Rochester Annual Dickensian Festival.
The day was a resounding success with the number of visitors exceeding 100.¬† Visitors to the Lodge were welcomed by the Brethren who included,Chris Sanford, the Lodge Mentor and Jeffery Agyapong. Jeffery is a recent addition to the Lodge who joined via the United Grand Lodge’s Universities Scheme. (for more information on this, click here)
Throughout the day, visitors were given an insight into freemasonry and the Lodge Meeting Room¬† by Ivor Patrick as well as an excellent talk by John Holder, John Allen and Bryan Shaw, asking, “Was Dickens a Freemason?”
