Freemasonry on Show

Kent County Show

Friday 17th,  Saturday 18th  and Sunday 19th July 2009

Members of all Lodges are enthusiastically invited to bring friends and family along to the Kent Freemasons stand at this year's Kent Show.

There's lots to do and see at the County Show, so why not combine a great day out for the family with a visit to your very own stand. As well as informative posters and various items of interest on display, the stand will also have a mini Lodge Room complete with Master's Chair and Pedestal, and even a gavel for your wife to call you to order!

Its an excellent opportunity for a friend or family member who might be thinking about joining to get a feel for Freemasonry and chat informally with existing Freemasons of all ages.

Or just bring your family along to see for themselves a little of what happens at your Lodge Meetings.

Special interest events are planned for the first two days of the Show. On the Friday there will be a special focus on the Masonic Charities with particular emphasis on Freemasons' Grand Charity and the Masonic Samaritan Fund, reflecting the East and West Kent Festivals in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

Saturday will see the TLC Teddy teams from both Provinces working together to promote a childrens Christmas Card design competition, highlighting in the process the great work that those tens of thousands of little teddy bears do in our hospitals. Do your children or grandchildren like drawing? Bring them along to join in the competition.

It promises to be our best ever year at the County Show and we hope to see you there to share it with us.
