New Services Available from the Masonic Samaritan Fund
It is getting tougher for people to access health and social care where they live and the MSF is expecting an increase in the number of people who need their help.
The Masonic Samaritan Fund is proud to announce three recently introduced services designed to meet today’s needs.
MSF Counselling Careline: This is a confidential, free helpline operated by trained counsellors who will listen and offer professional guidance. Up to six additional telephone or face-to-face sessions with a trained counsellor can also be arranged within 15 miles of a person’s home or work. For further information please visit the MSF Website.
MSF Consultation and Assessment Grant: has been subjected to a complete overhaul. Previously only people on means-tested benefits could apply for this grant but the changes have led to a four-fold increase in the number of grants awarded. For further information please visit the MSF Website.
MSF Eligibility Calculator: simplifies MSF’s eligibility criteria into ten quick questions which allow you to ascertain if you are eligible to make an application to the fund. The Calculator asks applicants about their Masonic connection, the type of grant required and their household finances. They are also informed about the procedure to follow when applying for one of the grants. For further information please visit the MSF Website.
