Head of Foreland Lodge 3209, the Worshipful Master Eric Gee, conducted the ceremony of passing.

On an official visit to this event, was the Head of East Kent Freemasons, Neil Hamilton-Johnson, accompanied by his escorting team, he congratulated the candidate on his passing and wished him well for his future as a Freemason.

Foreland Lodge holds its meeting at the village hall in St Margaret’s at cliff, both Noel Coward, the actor, and Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, lived in St Margaret’s Bay.

Neil said “It was a pleasure to be at the Foreland lodge this evening, I enjoyed the ceremony carried out by Eric supported by his officers, it is nice to see a young man like Andrew enjoying Freemasonry, I am sure he has a lot to contribute”.
The members and guests went on to hold the festive board at the Mariner Hotel in Dover.

The Foreland Lodge meets at the St. Margaret’s Hall, St George’s Place, Reach Road, St. Margaret’s-at-Cliffe. CT15 6AP, on the 4th Saturday in March and November, and the 2nd Saturday in October. Also, the Saturday nearest to St George’s Day in April.
