The Widows Sons Masonic Bikers Association
The Widows Sons Masonic Bikers Association is a group of Freemasons that have reached the stage of Master Mason and who share a common interest in motorcycling.
Members meet for a ‘natter’ once a month and organise occasional outings on their bikes, with friends and family members.
Members of the Widows Sons MBA can seen across the country raising money for many charitable causes in their own right and supporting other motorcycling groups who are also helping others. Village and town events have also benefitted and Masonic bikers have helped to make the community become more aware of what Freemasonry does for everyone.
The association was established in the UK in 2004 and its membership has grown steadily since then. In 2007 several members from Kent, London, Essex and Sussex grouped together to form the South-East Chapter of the national association.
They have recently donated to Kent Air Ambulance and SERV the blood runners and the Masonic Memorial Garden located at the National Arboretum.
They also have associate membership for non-riders, riding buddies, family and friends, called the Cornerstones.
The association welcomes new members and the Secretary of the South East Chapter is Jason Pearson who can be contacted on 07956-246408 or by using the contact form below. They hold a “Natter Night” on the third Wednesday of each month at the Moat in Wrotham.
Christmas Appeal - As a further example of their charitable activities, the South East Chapter of the Widows Sons MBA is running a Christmas appeal for toys, suitable for children up to the age of 16, across the whole chapter area which now includes East and West Kent, Surrey and Sussex, Berkshire, Hampshire and South London.
