Freemasons from the Peace and Unity Lodge No 4101 in Gillingham recently purchased a Bubble Tube for the Demelza children’s hospice in Bobbing.
A Bubble Tube light is a valued addition to the equipment in a sensory room where it provides multi-sensory feedback and stimulates the children’s visual senses. The colour changing features are also useful for promoting colour recognition and visual perception.
Lodge members Paul Sidaway, John Sampson and Colin Reece visited the hospice and presented the bubble tube on behalf of their lodge. They were told that the hospice was most grateful for the gift and that it made a beautiful addition to their care area with very positive feedback from everyone who has seen it.
Pat Flanagan, a long serving volunteer at the hospice said that it was one of the best additions they have had to their facilities and that it provided much fascination, enjoyment and therapy for the children.
