A change of venue signified a special day for Corinthian Lodge No 1208 of Dover for the dedication ceremony of their New Banner at Dover Town Hall. Earlier this year the lodge celebrated its 150th Anniversary.

Gordon Button, the head of the Corinthian lodge and the members were pleased to receive the Deputy Head of East Kent Freemasons, Peter Williams. After completing lodge business, Gordon closed the lodge, then welcomed in wife’s, partners and friends to witness the dedication of the new banner.

The Banner bearer and the escort team then carried the Banner into the main hall where Peter Williams unveiled it for all to see. The Provincial Chaplain then delivered the dedication prayer after which the Banner was delivered into the hands of the lodge. A very interesting and informative Oration followed explaining the importance of the banner.
